The double-waver is the basic waver gun upgrade. It has a devastating blast up close, but loses effect at long range. It's the .45 to your .38! Aiming is relatively the same as the waver, but also covers a wider spread at distance, delivering more general damage. Any player will notice its effect when an opponent uses one at short range and the health bar jumps down rapidly. This is a game changer in first person shooter mode. The ammo is slow to deplete, while remaining potent... making this an essential backup weapon when other resources are depleted. Backfire from the weapon (depletion from the players health bar) only happens in close proximity, making this a good weapon for close quarters. The double-waver may take multiple shots to wear down an enemy. The beam is a separated wave blast with a bluish to purplish hue.
